Steve Jobs Death

On the 5th of October i woke up in the morning and checked my blackberry messenger & saw that almost everybody had "R.I.P Steve Jobs" as their statuses. I was so shocked at the beginning and couldn't even believe it. I immediately went on Apple's website and saw their homepage and at the moment I knew it was true.

The relationship between Apple and me is pretty tight. This is due to the fact that me and my family have almost every single product that Apple has ever offered in the market. Not only because it's a new technology but because it is extremely useful in some parts of our life. For example my father uses the iPad during his flights, my mother uses her iPhone for various reasons, she uses it as an MP3 player, she uses it to play games, and I personally use a Macbook in my everyday life.

When I was checking my phone in the morning, so many people that didn't even know who Steve Jobs was had their statuses as "R.I.P Steve Jobs". I think this relates back to what we were studying last week, that how people get affected by the people around them which is also known as a consumer society. Even though many people didn't know Steve Jobs they still changed their status either because they didn't want to be the odd one out or they wanted to be a part of the lose.
