Bandwagon- on the site it shows examples of many different people taking action on the problem of global warming
Celebrities- Uses Steve Jobs (after death) as a supporter of Green Peace
Fear- Uses words like (deadly, dirty, dangerous, struggle, catastrophic.
-shows very negative causes at global warming like fire, sea level rise.
Repetition- "stop climate change " the word climate was repeated and shown in many different places on the site.
Testimonials- "Wangari Maathai -Africa's 'Mama Trees' passed away"
Glittering Generalities- "New Rainbow Warrior" implies freedom, patriotism, science, health.
Using these techniques are really effective on the audience, mostly because
the site uses a combination of many different techniques like Bandwagon, Intensity, Repetition, Testimonials,ect. this makes the effect more stronger because all these techniques tie in with the emotional and logic side of an individual.
