President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said it was evident that "those who resort to coercion are opposed to talks".
The meaning of "those who resort to coercion are opposed to talks" means that the people that force others into negotiation and talking are the ones that don't want to talk or are likely not to talk. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is using very complicated language because he is complicating his statement by saying the people that are forcing him to get into negotiation are the people that do not want to negotiate with him which is very confusing and the statement doesn't make sense. What he actually means is that American (in specific) try to negotiate with Iran or force Iran into negotiation but at the end when they are done negotiating they portray and image of Iran to the world that it was completely useless and they did not get anything from the negotiation. By using this type of language Iran's president tries to complicate his words because he doesn't want people to know who he is directly talking to.
