We all know that euphemisms hide the truth. So by hiding the truth are we lying? hmmm very interesting because lying is when we don't tell the truth. By using euphemisms we hide the truth but we are not lying.
hahaha that's so true, all the politicians say that we say the truth and we love our people and we would never lie to them but instead they use euphemism to hide their lies since they think people are stupid and won't realize what's hidden behind those words.
Well euphemisms aren't necessarily lies because they are interpretable as the truth assuming you know how its meant. Euphemism, however, can send people off in the wrong direction when looking for the meaning so it's hardly the politicians fault that the people didn't know what they were listening for before the politician said anything.
